South Florida exterior detailing built on craftsmanship, communication, and care.
Applying Pressure was founded by Nathan Chinn, a South Florida exterior detailing specialist who built the business on a simple idea: most pressure washing companies treat homes like one-time transactions, but a good wash is really the start of a long-term relationship with a property and its owner.
Every job Nathan takes on is one he handles personally — from quoting and scheduling through the actual cleaning and the final walkthrough. There's no rotating crew, no day-laborer turnover, and no chance the person who quoted you isn't the person showing up at your driveway. That continuity is why so many of our clients are repeat customers across multiple homes, and why our reviews consistently mention how easy it is to actually communicate with us.
Beyond cleaning, Nathan acts as a second set of eyes for the parts of your home you don't usually inspect. If we're soft-washing a tile roof and find a cracked tile or a clogged underlayment drain, you'll hear about it. If a fence post is rotting where it meets the ground, we'll flag it. We've coordinated tile repairs, recommended trustworthy roofers, and helped clients catch problems early enough to fix cheaply — that's what "more than just a wash" actually means.
Pressure washing isn't one technique — it's a stack of techniques applied to the right surface at the right time. Here's how we approach each kind of job.
Stucco, painted siding, vinyl, and tile or shingle roofs all get a low-pressure chemical wash. The cleaning agent does the work; pressure just rinses it away. This kills algae and mildew at the root without etching paint or breaking shingle granules.
A wand alone leaves stripes on driveways and patios. We use a flat surface cleaner that distributes pressure evenly across a 16-inch swath, lifting ground-in dirt, tire marks, and mildew without leaving zebra patterns.
Irrigation rust on stucco and concrete needs an oxalic-based reducer applied at the right concentration — pressure alone won't touch it. Same for battery acid, fertilizer burn, and red clay staining.
Before any chemical hits a wall, the plants and sod nearby get a pre-rinse. After we're done, they get another. We control runoff so cleaning chemistry never pools at the base of a hedge or freshly laid sod.
We document the worst spots before we start and the same spots after we finish. You see exactly what changed — including the parts of your roof or back gutter run that you can't see from the ground.
We quote in advance, in writing, with everything itemized. No mid-job add-ons, no "while we're here" upsells, no surprise invoices. The price you accept is the price you pay.
Plenty of "pressure washing companies" in South Florida are someone with a hose, a $300 box-store washer, and a truck. We're not that. Applying Pressure runs commercial-grade equipment because the difference between a good clean and a great clean is almost entirely about pressure, flow, chemistry, and applicator design.
Our setup includes a Powerstroke 3100 PSI machine driven by a Yamaha engine, a 16-inch flat surface cleaner for concrete and pavers, a dedicated soft-wash injection system for low-pressure chemical application on stucco and roofs, and the right nozzle library to swap pressures and patterns on the fly. That equipment is what lets us soft-wash a tile roof one hour and surface-clean a paver driveway the next without compromise on either.
"Nathan did an amazing job! He was on time, friendly, patient yet professional and listened to all my needs. He went above and beyond to make sure my newly planted sod would not be harmed from the chemicals. I would highly recommend him for all your pressure washing needs. Great job Nathan!"
"I have used the services of Nathan the owner of Applying Pressure 3 times. He is the ultimate professional. He has all the equipment to get the cleaning job done. He is always on time, does a great job and his prices are very fair. You will be very happy working with this company."
"I didn't realize that my fence could look so good after pressure washing it. It looks brand new! I loved it so much I asked for a roof cleaning. Turned out that some of the tiles on my roof needed to be repaired and he organized that after he pressure washed it. The videos that he showed me of the before and after were incredible. I'm extremely happy."
